About me

Hi, my name is Mariah and I am the crafty entrepreneur behind Mariah’s Crochet. I was born and raised in Lansing, MI; Cuban-American and I am currently living in Lansing, MI.

I started out by making Crochet for myself because I have a unique style of my own and I don’t really like buying items that have been mass produced because anyone can wear it. No offence to the retail stores but having a handmade item is just that more unique and special to me than purchasing at a store.

I had a lot of family and friends admire my handy work so I started making it for them as gifts. That’s pretty much where it all started. What I have learned is self taught and majority of the time my imagination guides me to the end result of all my projects. A lot of trial and error in the process but I am determined to craft because I love it. I take pride in what I do and what I stand for.
